About Heart of Superior

The beauty of the North Shore is captivating—even transformative. We’ve poured our hearts into crafting three cabins as beautiful and welcoming as their natural surroundings. 

All our cabins are bright and clean, boasting tall ceilings and large windows.  We’ve remodeled and updated each home with comfortable and modern furnishings, well-equipped kitchens and artful décor. 

Our cabins offer expansive lake views, as they are all nestled along the shore. Towering trees envelop guests in quiet privacy. Heart of Superior is a peaceful place to watch the waves, marvel at the stars, listen to the birds and make beautiful memories.

Lake Superior has held a special place in our hearts for decades. When brothers Mike and Pat were young boys, their family came to the North Shore every year. It was a favorite vacation spot, and relaxing days were filled hiking, skipping rocks, hunting for agates and making bonfires. 

As adults, Lake Superior remained a special destination. Pat and his wife, Patti, and Mike and his wife, Kathy, brought their own young families to the North Shore. Their children, and now grandchildren, have also fallen in love with this magical piece of earth.

When Pat and Mike saw the opportunity, in 2016, to purchase three homes in the “Heart of Superior,” it was a dream come true. 

We hope this will be a getaway you treasure. Our intention is to share the peace we find here with all our guests. We wish you a serene, tranquil and reflective experience, and we welcome you warmly.
